Howliewood 2007

Image
Today was the Howliewood Halloween disc golf tournament at Dalaiwood, our local course. You can guess what Jesse, Kenny & Mike went as. They were called the #2 Trio. Of course, being guys, they found it really funny. Natalee and I joined them for the last 5 holes. Natalee was fussy for those 5 holes (she was fighting off sleep -- and working really hard at it). She had already skipped one of her catnaps for the day. But, she finally fell asleep for a much longer than usual nap. I ate lunch, played 3 games of Corn Hole, and a 9 hole game of mini-disc golf. Now, I must turn my attention to the Penn State-Ohio State game. We are....Penn State!

3 month photos

Image
We went to Sears today to get her 3 month photos taken. They took forever to take us back, take our photos, order, and purchase (which isn't good for a young one!). It took us more than an hour and a half total. By the time we got to go back for our appointment, she wasn't very happy anymore. Here are some of the highlights: Right after this photo, she spit up all over their backdrop. oops... She started to suck her fingers -- she was tired and wanted to go to sleep! I had to hold her feet because she was moving them too much. And, they didn't take the sock fuzzies off of her feet! Did they not notice???

A Candlelit Night

Image
Yesterday, the Pacific Northwest had a windstorm. We spent the whole evening with romantic candlelight and a battery powered radio since we did not have electricity. We had to eat cold sandwiches and Fritos for dinner. I took this picture because the candle made my plant look huge with its shadow. Here, Natalee is having fun with the toys on her bouncy chair. She was kicking the toys to make them move and rattle.

Rolling Over

Image
Natalee pushed up, and two seconds after this picture was taken.... She rolled over! She looked quite shocked about it. We've been expecting it since she was laying on her side when we were in Pennsylvania. So, her first roll over happened exactly 3 months after she was born. She didn't appear to remember how she did it though!

PSNS Family Day 2007

Image
Yesterday, we went to the first Puget Sound Naval Shipyard family day since before 9/11. You'll have to click on the picture to make it bigger. I labeled the points of interest. We went down to the Port Orchard ferry, but there was a HUGE line. There were too many people to fit on the ferry, so we had to wait a half hour until the next ferry came. (There were too many people for that ferry, too, but we got on.) Then, when we got to Bremerton, we had to wait in another HUGE line at the gate. It was 3-4 city blocks long. The first half hour, we hardly moved. The second half hour, we were moving fairly well, considering. It ended up, that by the time we got to the security gate, they weren't really checking ID's anymore (we had to sign up in advance and they did background checks on us). They weren't looking for camera's either, but I'm sure that if you tried to take a picture of anything, someone would have been on you immediately. First, we saw Jesse's offic...

More Wedding Weekend Photos

I thought some people may want to see all of the pictures that we took at Todd & Katie's wedding. If you want any of the pictures I can email them to you or ask Mom and Dad for them. Enjoy!

Todd & Katie's Wedding

Image
This past weekend, we traveled to Belleville, PA, then to Hagerstown, MD, for the wedding of my brother, Todd, and my new sister-in-law, Katie. During our trip to Pennsylvania, Natalee slept nearly the entire time on the airplane, which was nice since we left so early. AND, she STILL slept through the night. On the way home Jesse oversaw the lady in front of us texting someone saying "Perfect...and infant behind me" -- Natalee showed her! Aside from the time they pressurized the cabin, she slept the entire time from Harrisburg to Cincinnati! HA! The lady did complement her behavior upon arrival in Cincy. From Cincinnati to Seattle she slept for at least the first two hours, ate, had some happy time, and slept for another hour. I can only hope that other plane rides go half as smoothly as this one did! The beautiful bride Me with my first-cousin-once-removed, Kaylene, who was a lovely flower girl Todd & Katie leaving the church Natalee got passed around a LOT, which we ex...

Belleville, PA

Here are some photos from Belleville this past weekend. I thought this was a neat picture with the Amish buggies outside the barn. Preaching service was held at this farm this past Sunday. The Case-New Holland Manufacturing Plant (I thought I should take it since it won't be in operation for much longer) Naomi with Natalee Four generations of women on the Sharp side of the family.
