2020 Picture Slideshow

Image
I just realized that I never posted our Christmas letter and card.  I also put here our 2020 family picture slideshow that highlights our memories and adventures for the year. You can see what we did before and during our "quarantine life." (There is one song in the video that was muted because of copyright issues.  Otherwise, it is my normal end of the year thing.)   The Honn ABC’s of 2020, the year of the COVID A    Jesse continues to work at ACCO BRANDS (Mead notebooks and envelopes).   COVID gave us extra time to mountain bike the ALLEGRIPIS TRAILS at Raystown Lake. B    On our drive to Idaho, we explored and camped at the BADLANDS NATIONAL PARK .   The next day, we camped in the BIGHORN MOUNTAINS of Wyoming. Natalee got her BIRTHDAY ice cream at…. C    …. COWBOY CREAMERY in Sheridan, WY. COVID-19 CANCELED a lot of things.   However, we were still able to make our Idaho trip by tent CAMPING the entire ti...

2015 Picture Slideshow

This year the picture slideshow is only 12 minutes long!  I must not have taken as many pictures this year.  I better get with it for next year.

A Year of Pictures in a Slideshow

Every year I put together pictures and videos from the previous year into a DVD for some lucky recipients. :) In case you missed it and you want to see it, here is the picture slideshow portion of the DVD.  It's set to music, so turn on your sound.

Jupiter, Florida

Three weeks ago, we were in Jupiter, Florida, visiting my cousin, Deron.  I've been cold ever since we returned home!  (Spring, where are you?) The kids and I traveled in a van with my mom and Aunt Lois. It was a really long drive, but very much worth it.  I wish we could have stayed for two weeks, though!  Too bad we have school to worry about now. I had way too many pictures that I wanted to share, so I made a little music video of our trip. Enjoy!

2013 Picture Slideshow

Here is our family picture slideshow for this past year, 2013.  It isn't quite as long as the one I put up last month for the year 2012, but it is still about 12 minutes long, I think.  These pictures include trips to Lake Tobias, Niagara Falls, Kinzua Viaduct, Natural Bridge plus hikes on the Thousand Steps and Detwiler Run. Also, there are a few bike rides on here.

2012 Picture Slideshow

I finally finished my picture slideshow from last year.  As in the year 2012.  Usually around Christmas I compile a slideshow of my favorite pictures from throughout the year.  However, after we said our final goodbyes to our dog, Meg, I could not bear to finish the slideshow.  I just did not want to look at the pictures. This past week I have been feeling really ill, (and Jesse had off work) so I had plenty of time to finish last years slideshow.  (I almost have this years done too!) This shows how old the pictures are.  There are pictures of: Amie just after birth, Mount Rushmore, Idaho, Glacier National Park, North Topsail Beach North Carolina, Lake Tobias Wildlife Park, Ryan & Brandy's wedding, and much more.  I also compiled some pictures of Meg throughout her life at the end.  With all of that, be prepared with some time to watch the slideshow (with music-- you'll want to turn up the volume).  We did a lot of awesome adventures...

North Topsail Beach, NC

We left Saturday morning at 3:35am and arrived at North Topsail Beach at 5pm.  A very long drive with 3 little kids with the only adult in the car being me! (Dad and Mom followed behind us).  I-95 was dreadful, as usual.  We ended up driving on US 301 for a while.  We made 4 stops mostly for Amie to eat and everyone else to go to the bathroom and sing happy birthday to Dad. We stayed in two side by side condos with the rest of the 16 members of the Sharp family. (There were 20, including us) We enjoyed the beach, played in the pool, went 4x4 sand driving, saw sea turtles in giant buckets, walked the pier, saw someone else catch a shark (yes, that's right-- I didn't venture far out into the ocean!), collected seashells and much more. On the way home, we left at 3:45 and made it off of I-95 just in time before the crazy traffic started.  We were passed on the right hand side (in the shoulder) by one crazy driver.  By Richmond, there was a random bike ...

Glacier National Park

There are simply too many photos, so I made this slideshow.  I still didn't include all of the pictures, but these are the best ones. You can click on the slideshow to make it bigger. Then, you will be able to see my commentary about each picture. Did you know how hard it is to find a hotel room in or near North Dakota???  And, it isn't because there are not hotel rooms!  There aren't many, but what is there is booked.  You will see lakes, a waterfall, rivers, our hotel, a place we drove through that was named one of our names, North Dakota, and more!

2011 Picture Slideshow

Pictures (with music) from this past year: This is the picture slideshow that I put together a few weeks ago to give to family members for Christmas.  I tried to compile videos and pictures from the past year and put them on a DVD.

Easter 2009

I thought I'd share the photos my sister-in-law took at Easter because they are so good. You can see the Easter Bunny scare and more.

More Wedding Weekend Photos

I thought some people may want to see all of the pictures that we took at Todd & Katie's wedding. If you want any of the pictures I can email them to you or ask Mom and Dad for them. Enjoy!
