A Week in the Life of Us - fall edition

Image
Here is what our week looked like.  It is like this nearly every week of the fall. MONDAY: Trip #1 to Central High School (Martinsburg).  Natalee's varsity team didn't play well and lost 5-2. Natalee is #25 TUESDAY: We made trip #2 to Central High School (Martinsburg) to see Amie's junior high team.  The Bearcats won 3-2. Amie wears #12 WEDNESDAY: First, Brady had a cross country meet at Hollidaysburg.  He finished in 5th place at Hollidaysburg with a time of 17:50.  It wasn't his best race, but he is improving steadily as the season progresses. I thought I had put on my water bottle lid tightly. But, i had not. It spilled all over the trunk. Of course most of it landed in Jesse’s bag and all of his clothes and pajamas were wet. And that, folks is how our portion of the DC trip began! My swollen arm The next day, we slept in a little more, and I was feeling much better. I was much more ready for our adventure. I didn’t realize until later ...

Both Amie and Brady were in their school’s jazz band this year. In the past 10 days, we’ve been to 4 music concerts. Jazz Band last night was #4. Tonight will be day 11 and concert #5, 6th grade band fest. Here is part of the Jazz Band concert. Between all of the music concerts, track and field, soccer, school end of year events and banquets, can you say Maycember?
