Our House is Listed!

You can see our house listed here: http://www.windermere.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=Listing.ListingDetail&ListingID=19625005 We are in Boise, ID, right now. I want to show a picture of Deadmans Pass in Oregon from our drive yesterday, but I don't have a way to upload it. It was really snowing at both Snoqualmie Pass and Deadmans Pass. So, we had a slower drive on quite a bit of our voyage. Tomorrow, we are heading toward Wyoming, then to Colorado.

Army Crawling

As Jesse would say, we've been "wicked busy" lately. Last weekend, we spent Easter with Jesse's folks. Now, we are down to the grind with moving preparations. We leave early tomorrow morning for Boise. We will also have a stop over in Colorado before making our way to Pennsylvania. We will be taking quite a few days to make our trip. After getting to PA, I will have to fly back here to Washington because I have not been released from my contract yet and I have to be present for the movers to take our things. As busy as we are, I am certainly glad that I do not have to pack all of our things on top of getting our house prepared for the market (it should go on today, I think) We are taking a trailer full of things with us that the movers will not take, like our freezer full of food, paint, ammunition, etc. With all of this packing and rearranging, I think the dog is wondering what is going on. She isn't taking her eye off of us! Natalee is getting around a...

San Diego, CA

This past weekend, we traveled to San Diego, CA, to visit Jesse's sister, Rachel, and her husband, Graham, and daughter Iona. We had great sunny weather to enjoy. On Saturday, we visited SeaWorld . Natalee really loved the Shamu show and the Shark Tank. You go underneath the shark tank and the sharks swim all around you. She looked very curiously at them! Sunday, we took a nice afternoon walk at Balboa Park . Monday, we walked around Old Town San Diego and the Presidio Park .

We left the living room with Natalee sitting fully clothed and playing with her toys. We returned to find her like this:

A Day in the Life of Natalee

Today, I've been working on a lot of important things. I haven't really figured out the crawling technique yet, but I have the individual skills and can scoot myself along. Almost there.... ....Got it!! Mom took that away so that she could put it on the dog. We were preparing to take the dog for a walk. So, I moved on to..... ....the camera strap! I can drink from my cup all by myself now. I like to read books. But then I dumped this one and.... .... I reached for the other book. Mommy thought I was too dangerous, so she put me on the floor. So, I put my toy in my mouth..... ....then, I spotted Mommy's school papers. Mommy didn't like that, so she moved them. I think she didn't want my slobbers all over the work she was grading. After all that, I'm exhausted and it is time for a nap.

Crib Aerobics

Following a nap, this is how I often find Natalee. In fact, the past few weeks I have found her actually sleeping curled up with her knees tucked under. Plus, this is the opposite direction that I put her in when I layed her down. It's hard to tell here, but she is doing her aerobics. She goes up on her arms and toes. Then, tucks under again. Gearing up for another exercise: Followed by another arm and foot pose, this time with only one foot touching the ground. Has she crawled yet? No. I believe she will wait to do that until it is an inopportune time. Such as when we are moving. For several weeks, she has gotten up on her hands and knees to rock back and forth. Plus, she has moved backwards. And, walking? Oh, that is so much fun for her when someone holds her hands. She steps forward quickly and her face beams. Especially when she reaches the dog....
