PA Game Lands 322

Image
The children and I took a small hike on a trail through game lands 322.  We have passed this pull off  many times, but until recently I didn't realize that there was a trail out to the cliffs. This picture says a lot about our walk out to the cliffs.  It was probably only 1/2 mile to the cliffs.  It was gorgeous out there.  You could see toward Petersburg and Huntingdon, but you could not see either town.  We also knew that the Juniata River and the railroad were below us, but we couldn't see them either. These cliffs are serious.  We found a way to walk to the bottom.  From here we saw where people clamp on to climb the cliffs. Brady went back down another time. Amie was making some "soup" out on the rocks. We would like to go back to explore when the leaves change this fall.  There were a lot of oak trees around.  I would like to walk toward town a little.

Penn State - Idaho Football

Image
With one Penn State alumna and one Idaho alumnus living only 30 miles from Beaver Stadium, we were looking forward to this Penn State - Idaho game since it was announced several years ago.  We knew Penn State is on another level buy it was fun nonetheless. One of Jesse's good friends flew in from Idaho to see the game with us.  So, this Penn State alumna went with two Idaho alumni (let's see if I can get all of the correct uses of this word here.  Too bad I didn't have another female alumna with me so that I could refer to alumnae too. Although, I did tailgate with Penn State alumni and alumnae). Here is one Penn State alumna, two Idaho alumni, and three kids that didn't know who to cheer for. I made a little video of our time at the game. Penn State won 79-7.
