Mattress Jumping

I took apart the daybed that was in Brady's room today.  Brady and Natalee are now sharing not only a bedroom, but a bed, too.  Yes, it has been interesting.  The first night, Natalee was yelling at Brady because he got out of bed to look at books (in the dark).  The second night, we heard a big commotion and went in to find what appeared to be Brady wrestling Natalee.  And, Natalee fell out of bed in the middle of the night (she moves A LOT).  The third night, I forgot to put a diaper on Brady, so there was big discussion about that.  I think they were so tired last night that they did not bother each other. There wasn't really room for a double bed and the daybed.  That is why they are now sharing a bed.  We left Natalee's bed in her room, but we set up Amie's crib in there, too.  Natalee will probably return in a few months.  After I took it apart, I told them they could jump on the mattresses in the basement.  The kids ...

Pretty Pictures

Image
The daffodils are blooming and the trees are, too.  Spring flowers have come out about a month earlier this year than last year, it seems.   It was so pretty out on the porch, I thought we should play out there for a while and then take some pictures.  Amie is now 5 weeks old, Brady is 3, and Natalee is 4 1/2. My beautiful big little girl. Brady finally got in a picture for me. After her nap, I took Amie outside for pictures.... ...but she wasn't having any of that! Natalee always gives me a smile.

Sisters

Image
The two sisters seem to adore each other. Natalee loves giving Amie kisses (a lot).  Amie always seems to know when Natalee is around.  She likes to look at her in the car and while Natalee is playing.  Amie "tolerates" her sister Natalee's sometimes wild gestures of affection. It is rough and tiring being a baby! Amie is just over 4 weeks old.

Brady's 3rd Birthday

Image
We celebrated Brady's birthday the past two days.  For his birthday activity, he REALLY wanted to go to Chuck E. Cheeses.  So, on Wednesday, we ventured to the game place. The frog game- possibly his favorite.  You push the button to shoot the balls into the frogs mouth. Brady and Jesse.  Technically Amie is here, too, but you can't see her. Natalee and Lindsay.  I look tired. For Brady's actual birthday, we got to go..... to the dentist!  Oh, the excitement!  It was nearly an 80 degree day,  with a cool breeze.  Who would have thought we would be wearing shorts and eating in the gazebo for Brady's birthday????  In the middle of March! For his birthday meal, he chose cake.  I  had to make him choose a main meal part.  He finally decided on hot dogs and sweet potato fries.  Hot dogs are not our usual fare, but it was a nice treat.   As a special treat, we bought him some cheese c...

Mr Social

Image
We traveled to Hagerstown, MD, to celebrate the 30th birthday of my brother, Todd. Mr Social (Brady) was going around and eagerly snapping photos of everyone.  He went from table to table of people he didn't really know and struck up conversations. He's cute!

Natalee's Indoor Soccer Game

Image
Natalee has been playing indoor at the community center.  She really looks forward to playing.  Natalee is definitely not the one to join the fight for the ball in the middle of the pack of  kids.  She follows beside the pack ready to kick the ball when it pops out.  She knows what to do but doesn't want in that mess.  Really, I don't blame her! Natalee kicks the ball! Natalee was the goalie for a while. When she stopped the ball, her friend, Will, appeared to be very excited about it.  So cute! Here is a video, thanks to Kelly:
