New England Road Trip - Vermont
Part two of our New England get away was in Stowe, Vermont. We were going to camp here, too, but then decided to get an Air BnB with a shower and washer/dryer. I'm glad we did with how many rainy days we had to contend with. Our Air BnB was in up these blue steps to the right. Our first day in Stowe had a theme of indecision and poor planning. First of all, remembering that it was Monday was a challenge. First, we drove to Camel Hump State Park, but by the time we got out there, we decided it was a longer hike than we really had energy for (remember this later). We planned to see Ben and Jerry's and the Cabot Cheese Store, but both were closed because it was Monday. We did check out the Ben & Jerry's graveyard. I think they need to bring back this Wild Maine Blueberry flavor. Next, we got the idea to take the Hellbrook Trail up Mt. Mansfield.
