1st Day of School

 It is the first day of school.  *sigh*  It is at least comforting that they are so excited to go to school.  I know they will love it and they have great teachers.  I pray for forging great friendships, safety, and learning in this new school year.  Plus, my hope is that they show love to others around them. They found another caterpillar.  This is a typical daily sight at my house. Finding caterpillars doesn't get old! It's the first day of Kindergarten for Brady, and he's really excited.  He didn't even complain that I put out a collared "church shirt" for him to wear. (He dressed nicely for preschool last year, too, but somehow he didn't connect it)  He's so excited be be in Mrs. T's classroom.  He kept saying, "I know Mrs. T is excited for school to start too!" Shenandoah NP and Roanoke

I had promised the kids last spring that we would visit Kelly and Will one more time before they moved back to Pennsylvania.  We visited last week. Here's a beautiful view of the scenery and cows I wanted a picture of the two kids but Amie kept running up to the camera- and she thought it was quite funny.  The first night we were visiting, I came down with the flu.  Super yuck!  It was awful.  I'm thankful to Kelly for taking care of my kids because I was virtually unable to do anything.  I felt horribly that the kids could not still go to the water park.  I knew they would be disappointed, but they did seem to understand and were patient.  Really, they just liked playing with Will!  Kelly was sweet and took the kids to an indoor playground.
